About Sweet Tarts:

SweeTarts (/ˈswiːt.tɑrts/; officially stylized as SweeTARTS) are sweet and sour candies invented by John Fish Smith, the owner of Sunline Inc., in 1962. The candy was created using the same basic recipe as the already popular Pixy Stix and Lik-M-Aid products, in response to parents' requests for a less-messy candy. In 1963, SweeTarts were introduced with the same flavors as the popular Pixy Stix: cherry, grape, lemon, lime, and orange.[citation needed]

Sunline Inc. was later bought by Rowntree Mackintosh, of the United Kingdom, which was, in turn, taken over by Nestlé. Nestlé rolled the SweeTarts family of candies into the already-existing Willy Wonka Candy Company family of brands.[citation needed]

In 2001, Nestlé replaced the original lime with green apple. In 2009, Nestlé stopped making lemon (yellow), but put it back into the lineup of flavours in 2014. Also, the flavours are more tart now than in the past.[citation needed] The current flavours in the SweeTarts roll are: blue punch (blue), cherry (pink), grape (purple), lemon (yellow) and green apple (green). Retired flavours include lime (the former flavor for green). The large boxes recently have not included ORANGE.

The Canadian Open (also known as the Canada Masters), currently sponsored as the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank, is an annual tennis tournament held in Canada. The men's competition is a Masters 1000 event on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour. The women's competition is a Premier 5 tournament on the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tour. The competition is played on hard courts.

The events alternate from year to year between the cities of Montreal and Toronto. In odd-numbered years, the men's tournament is held in Montreal, while the women's tournament is held in Toronto, and vice versa in even-numbered years. Before 2011, they were held during separate weeks in the July–August period, now the two competitions are held during the same week in August. The Toronto tournament is held at the Rexall Centre, York University, and the Montreal tournament is held at the Stade Uniprix.

The current singles champions are Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Agnieszka Radwańska.

About  Marriot Hotels:

The Marriott chain began with two motels in the 1950s. The first opened as a Quality Inn airport motel near Washington D.C. and another motel nearby, the Twin Bridges, a few years later. With the opening of the second motel, Marriott was born as a brand name. The Twin Bridges motel is still operating, but as a full-service hotel. The Twin Bridges property was demolished in 1990, but the Key Bridge property still operates.

In 1967, Marriott opened its first resort hotel, the Camelback Inn, in Arizona, USA. Marriott Hotels & Resorts expanded outside of the United States for the first time in 1969 with the opening of the Marriott in Acapulco, Mexico.

By 1975, Marriott Hotels & Resorts had expanded to Europe, with the Amsterdam Marriott hotel opening in 1975.

METRIC is Emily Haines, Jimmy Shaw, Joshua Winstead and Joules Scott Key. An independent rock and roll band empowered by their innovative approach to the music business, METRIC self-released their last album FANTASIES on five continents without the benefit of a label and earned themselves multiple radio hits around the world with songssuch as "Gimme Sympathy," "Gold Guns Girls," and "Help I'm Alive." They went on to sell over a million singles and 500,000 albums worldwide.

FANTASIES earned METRIC "Album of the Year" and "Band of the Year" at the Canadian Juno Awards, and the band finished 2010 with their music featured in two major Hollywood films including Scott Pilgrim vs The World and the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The Twilight soundtrack was nominated for a Grammy Award and landed METRIC on the Academy Award nomination short list in 2011 for the theme song they co-wrote with composer Howard Shore.
